DIT.EXE

I have recently installed a new hard drive and windows xp pro. I am now
receiving the message "DIT.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close".
Any ideas what this means/is.

"dit.exe" is a MultiCard reader tool. It is required to assign
drive icons and names to flash memory cards.
