I encountered serious problems with the suggestion of windows (windows vista
home premium) to update DNE drivers. Following the link and installing lead
to an almost complete blocking of the pc (both cpu's running at 100%, but in
the process section of the task manager only 5% could be observed). After
some warnings that the installation took too long, cancelling was not
achieved. Only by means of a physical switching off was I able to get back in
control.
The original problem concerned a problem with switsching off which the
problem solver identified as being a problem with the DNE driver upon which
is suggested to update this driver.
