What internal record did you create? Did you create a www record?
Did you also create a blank hostname record (so you can get to the site by
http://domain.us)?
For the internal records you created, did you provide the private IP for the record?
Is there a hostheader = domain.us and
www.domain.us set in IIS for the website?
