Firstly, I don't think that the output of my IP Configuration is goin
to help. It says the exact same thing as it did when the interne
worked, and all of the addresses are normal. I will include it at th
bottom however.
Copying the DNS servers from my router (running the latest DD-WRT) d
not work. I had already tried that, but I tried again and to no avail.
I have made a discovery though. I was able to ping Google by the IP a
I said in my first post. But this led me to try and put
www.google.co
in my hosts file, and of course, it worked. I hope this info helps.
fix these things all the time for people, and have never seen anythin
like this. It's almost as if the computer is refusing to connect to th
DNS servers. The only AV I am running is AVG Free (latest) and do no
have any other firewalls, AV software or scanners. Computer is quit
clean (as I keep it).
