DNS Resolution Issue

We have 59 domain Controllers installed across different location of our
organisation. Each DC is configured as DNS server and are hosting a DNS zone
which is AD integrated.
All the windows desktops across organisation uses these DNS servers for
internal name resolution and all the DC's have forwarder configured for
external name resolution to other DNS server.

Recently we have started facing the Issue that the Windows XP clients are
not able to update the host records in the DNS servers. Somtimes after the
DHCP renewing the IP the records are not getting updated in DNS server and
the clients not able to ping any of the servers in the local network using
host name. If we run Ipconfig /flushdns and registerdns command it works fine
but after sometime it again start showing issue.

DHCP servers are configured for Dynamic updates if client request and all
the DHCP servers are added to DNSupdateProxy Group as we have secure Only DNS
zones.

Kindly suggest how to find the reason for the same.

Thanks,
Sukhwinder

Have you confirmed when this is occuring that the DHCP server in an ipconfig
/all is the authorative DHCP, and not a rogue DHCP server?

Any event log errors on any of the DCs or the workstation?
