Recently I decided to download WGA every time it asked to (I took the risk,
as it seemed it provoked problems to others in the past).
It didn't to me.
Today I downloaded all available updates which I checked through the June
security bulletin, my download history and my add/remove programs>show
updates.
My problems are also of another nature, too.
I have a big trojan problem in my p/c.
I discovered that I have less problems if I always surf through a limited
account and saw that my antivirus together with my antispyware get their
definitions updated through this limited account, so I thought, if I may
update also my Windows thus, it couldn't be better.
Last month I saw that my automatic windows Update functionned through the
limited account and updated my windows.
I was very happy to see this, yet now my automatic windows updates didn't so.
I checked the Microsoft Update through the admin account and my automatic
updates although I ordered to them actual time to collect updates they
remained inactive until I started downloading through Express button, then
the yellow escutcheon appeared and remained a little bit later than when I
finished downloading and installing all updates.
My question is: do automatic updates function when surfing through a limited
account?
If yes, what to do to see if my automatic updates need to be corrected, ot
to check if they function alright?

Yes, they should. Automatic Update runs in the background with
administrator privileges (or even higher maybe), so they can download and
apply the updates even while a limited user is logged on. The user might be
prompted to restart to complete the update installation.

You can't do this as a limited user. As an Administrator, you can visit
Windows Update.
