How do I deploy updates to win2000 SP4 stations from WSUS server, I need to
configure each win2000 workstation locally (By using GPEDIT.MSC) and can't
find the place where can I configure it.
(I can't configure this stations from the AD policy)

In XP or 2003 I don't have any problems and can configure the location of
the WSUS server.

Any idea ?

Thanks
Gil

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/com...pdate_services

crossposted for convenience.

Configuring a Win2000 system is done exactly the same way as the WinXP or
Win2003 system.

If the /policy settings/ are not present in GPEDIT.MSC, then you'll need to
import the wuau.adm policy template. The wuau.adm template can be found in
the %windir%\INF folder of the WSUS server, or any other system that's been
properly configured.
