You need to be logged on as a admin level account to disable another admin
level account - however you cannot disable yourself. So you need to logon
with an admin account to run the cmd you want to disable the built in
administrator account.

Maybe your computer senses that you are a juvenile and won't give you
admin rights.

Hello biddy79uk
What Mike was tryoing to tell you is
Logon to YOUR own admin account ( NOT the built-in admin acct.) first
then use the cmd command to disable the built-in admin account
If you still have trouble. Post the entire error message(s)

heres a link to a windows vista tweak you can use to enable and disable the
adminstrator account...

http://www.winvistaclub.com/uwtf.html

look to the right theres a logo thats says download ultimate windows tweaker
then select run....

once you download and install windows tweaker... go to user accounts and UAC
there will be a enable or disable option for the built in admin account..
select disable and restart windows... that outta fix you problem...

1. you can't disable the administrator account, you can rename it though if
security is your concern
2. if you want to automatically login or to stop those user account control
from poping up you'll need to alther your search critiria or your question
