First, I want to let folks know I am NOT highly computer-literate so..... I
have recently found that no updates had been done on my computer because I
had it set to auto updates at 3am and the computer isn't on (I do have PANDA,
btw).
I am now trying to go back and install all the updates which are listed on
my Update History as not downloaded. However, when I click on any of the
items, it doesn't give me to option to download. How do I go back and get the
computer up-to-date ???
I discovered this when I tried to install "Windows Genuine Advantage
Validation Tool". The install failed and I'm thinking it's because there are
so many earlier updates which are not installed.

Thanks (using Window XP)

If you set Automatic Updates to a time and day when the machine's usually
running and connected to the internet, do the updates download (and
install)?

I can certainly try that but wouldn't that still be a problem as far as
"capturing" all the past updates which haven't been done?

thanks!

So...
Turn on auto-updates to a time when the computer is actually on and let it
get the updates over a few days time.
