Where do I go to uninstall Vista and revert back to XP

Hello,

I upgraded from XP to Vista and due to lack of drivers I need to fall back
to XP.

How do I go about doing that? I expected some kind of uninstall in
add/remove programs but can't seem to find anything...

Backup all your data, then boot off the XP cd and do an install. Wipe the
drive clean and Vista will be history!

I have a mess of stuff already installed which I can't easily reconfigure
and reinstall.

So, can anyone answer my question? How do I uninstall Vista and revert back
to my XP. I did an upgrade from XP so I'm assuming I can do a downgrade
back.

Sorry, but you should have made an image copy before you started. The link
is your only way back short of a fresh install.

I'm curious, which drivers specifically are you referring to?

Did you Upgrade an OEM version of XP or was it a retail version of an XP CD that you purchased at a retailer. Makes a big difference if you can or cannot.

At this point, if losing data and apps aren't an issue then the best coarse
is to boot with the xp cd, format the drive and do a clean install. Quicker
and cleaner.

So what would happen if your hard drive died? You would have to do a clean
install, reinstall your programs again. You should have your programs on
CD/DVD.
