There may be a better way with the WLM beta... but... import Outlook
calendar to Google Calendar... then Google to Live via ICS file.

There's no easy way to do this, AFAIK.
A year or so ago, I did the following:
For Outlook 2003, I was able to use a work-around that involves Google
Calendar...
Windows Live Calendar can only import .ics (not .csv or .pst) format
Outlook (pre-2007) can't export .ics format

In Outlook 2003, export to a CSV file.
go to a calendar on Gmail.com
import the CSV file to Google calendar
export to .ics file (had to use help for these two steps, as it's not
straightforward)

For Windows Live calendar, you'll have to log into the Live website, and
import the .ics file there...
Subscribe - Import from an ICS file

I'm not sure if anything has changed with Google calendar/Live
Hotmsil/WLM... since then.

No need to do all that - there's an add-in for Outlook that synchronises
a Google calendar with your Outlook calendar.

Sounds good...
but looking at the site, it may not be compatible with the OP's Outlook
2002...

"Currently, Google Calendar Sync is only compatible with Microsoft Outlook
versions 2003, 2007, 2010 32-bit and operating systems Windows XP and
Windows Vista.

Windows XP 64-bit Edition is not compatible with Google Calendar Sync at
this time."
