how do i install microsoft windows xp service pack 2

i have a upgrade from microsoft windows 2000 professional to microsoft
windows xp professional version 2002 with service pack 1 i tried to install
visual studios 2005 and it said that i need windows xp professional service
pack 2 to install it. i went to microsoft updates website
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx and went to Download SP2
from Microsoft Update priority updates downloaded but it did not find windows
xp sp2. how do i find sp2 after the downloads
