Avoid this product. I had serious problems.

I hoped to talk to somebody, but there is no phone support. The email
support is a dismal 18 hours according to their email to me.

And I have a computer emergency on my hands....

Most anything that tampers with the registry is minimally effective, pure
snake oil or down right dangerous. You have found this out the hard way.
Most any knowledgeable person will tell you to avoid them like the plague.

John

Hope you learned a lesson. All Reg tools are snake oil remedies. And I mean all. It
does nothing to speed up your computer and does not give you better performance or
more space

Post some details here, maybe there's an expert who can help. It's not me,
I'm sure,but there's a lot of knowledge here...

Good luck.

John, you can restore whatever you did with Regcure selecting
the Backup button. Regcure makes automatics backups and you
can choose between them.

Gene, I understand that all registry tools are dangerous but
from my experience some of them do in fact make you
computer run faster, such as "old" registry obsolete
keys from programs that where removed, etc.etc.

Regards
Willy.

That assumes that the snake-oil registry cleaner leaves the machine in
a bootable state, which is all too often not the case.

To date, no one - not even those companies that rip off people by
selling such drek -- has ever been able to provide any scientifically
verifiable (i.e., independent laboratory) evidence to support such a
claim. If you can do so, you'd be the first.

Thanks.
Startup had gotten slower, and there were still traces of Comodo in the
registry. I had uninstalled Comodo..... but you know how it goes. Left lots
of traces.
