Do not wish to install critical update

Every day I am informed that a critical update is waiting for me. The one for
Outlook Express is of no use for me as I do not use Outlook Express as my
mailer.
How do I prevent auto update to warn me for this specific update, as turning
off auto update is no solution for me. Installed Windows 98 SE and Internet
Explorer 6 sp1.
