Do I really need this update (framework)

The version of net framework I currently have (2.5 I think) seems to work
just fine. My needs are minimal.

Do I need to install 3.5 as per the latest Windows Update?

Please post back the specific version or versions
of .NET Framework that are currently installed
on your PC.

How to determine which versions of .NET Framework are installed and
whether any service packs have been applied:

2.0 Original release 2.0.50727.42
2.0 Service Pack 1 2.0.50727.1433
2.0 Service Pack 2 2.0.50727.3053


Could be any one of the three above.
Need to narrow it down. Use Aaron's
tool and post back.
