How do I remove Service Pack 4?

I recently attempted to install a wireless DSL router. The install was
unsuccessful, and ever since then, I cannot launch any of my applications by
double-clicking their launch icon. I get a message that says something like,
"Quicken.exe is not a valid Win32 application." The only way I can launch is
to right click the icon, select properties, and select "Run as different
user." I want to reinstall Windows 2000 Professional, but when I try I get an
error message saying Service Pack 3 can't be installed over newer versions. I
originally installed Windows 2000 with SP3, and have since upgraded to SP4.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Use another PC with a CD writer to slipstream SP4 and make a Windows 2000 CD
which includes SP4 ??

Hi;

Look in the .\WINNT folder (or possibly .\Windows) for a subfolder named
"$NTServicePackUninstall$"

Within that folder will be another named "SPUninst" and that folder will
have a file named "spuninst.exe." Run that file to uninstall SP4.
Probably best if you do that after booting into Safe Mode.
