Right-click on it and delete it?
It's a link/shortcut/favorite.
Just delete it.
If you want a popup to show - and you know there is about to be one - hold
down the CTRL key before going to said web page/clicking on said link. Not
to mention that the popup protection bar has nothing to do with the links
bar. The popup protection bar will come up in any case - whether you have
any or all the toolbars up.
