How do I reset the size of items displayed on my monitor?

I have no idea what I have done, but all of the displayed items on the
monitor have increased in size, both websites and applications...content
columns on Home Page, etc. Thanks for any help.

Right click on an open area of your screen and click on "properties". In
display properties, check to see if your screen resolution has changed (the
higher the resolution the smaller things appear). Also check to see if
you've got "small icons" or "large icons" chosen.
