I'm running into a similar problem where a windows update is not showing up
in the add/remove programs... (yes, I have 'show updates' checked).
I tried you're suggestion, but it did not bring the update back into view.
It didn't seem as though the command did anything, no response upon
execution...not even a pause when I typed it in the command line. Any other
ideas??
