How do I solve a 'Did not load driver' problem?

My computer started to hang at startup after removing Norton 360 & replacing
it with Avast & Comodo. I tried to do a system restore earlier this morning
but the restore failed.
On startup, I would usually get one icon in the system tray before the
computer hangs.

If I right click, the screen is highlighted in a much lighter shade and I
get a message asking whether I want to end the process or wait however there
is no indication as to what process or application is hanging.

Additionally, after I have ended the process a couple of times, after the
computer has finished booting super antispyware and my logitech G-series
software failed to load properly - I have uninstalled both with no effect.

After enabling boot loging, it is stated that 'kbdhid.sys' and 'srv.sys' did
not load. The first driver appears to be related to the keyboard which could
be why the G15 software didn't load properly.

I ran sfc /scannow and it got to 98% file verification before it ended and
said it could not fix all files. I ran sfc /scan now in normal mode, not
safe mode which I will do shortly.

How do I find out exactly what is causing this problem and go about
resolving it? Like I said, it only began to happen after removing Norton 360
with the Norton Removal Tool and replacing it with the latest versions of
Avast Antivirus and Comodo Firewall Pro. I also installed Google Toolbar
after this and I've disabled GoogleToolbarNotifier and Google Updater from
loading at startup.

In the boot log file. kbdhid.sys is loaded several lines below it's initial
failure however srv.sys's failure to load comes right after the log stating
that it loaded srv.sys

Turns out it was the Defense+ feature of comodo. As soon as I disabled that
computer booted normally.
