I don't play them.
They take up disk space.

I think we used to be able to mark them to be uninstalled in control panel
Remove module but can's see how to do it in this win Vista Premium.

please and thank you.

Control Panel | Uninstall a program (under Programs)
Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the box for Games.

I didn't make myself clear.
They are not enabled
but they are still on the hard drive

I don't want to jut turn the feature off, I want to remove them from the
drive.

Can't do that. Besides, have you any idea how little space they
actually use? Kilobytes.

It's not even a question of 'how little space they take'.
It's a question of why does MS say I can't dump a bunch of stupid games I
will never use nor want?

Why can't I just go to the directory and delete the directory?
Will MS Vigilantes come and confiscate my computer?

sheesh....

Your car came with an AM and FM capability in the radio.
If you don' like or want AM stations, you just don't push the AM button.
You don't go into the radio and pull the AM guts out.

double sheesh....

The game files are found in the C:\windows\system32\ folder, you don't delete that "directory"
You can go in and delete the individual files and delete the menu shortcuts, but that is a dumb waste of time and effort.

Is there anything wrong with just deleting the 'Games' subdirectory?
If you 'can't' remove Games via the Features control panel module, and only
'disable' them, will the Vista police come an confiscate my computer for
deleting the directory?
