How do you delete entries in Windows update?

There are some Windows updates that did not install properly. How do
you remove entries in the Windows update?

You can't remove the entries in the Update History list.

Personally I doubt it, but I have never tried.

If you install the Update successfully it will then get rid of that failed install
in the History and overwrite it as Successful

Boot your system in safe mode. Goto Add remove programs and clik on the
option to list the installed updates. Select the updates that were not
installed and remove them restart the system. Good luck
