I’m having problems updating - I get the following message

[Error number: 0x80004005]
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

I have searched the forum, and on Google, Does anyone have any idea how to
fix this?

I don’t have a firewall on the computer, and other computers can update on
my network

It only seems to be my computer, and mine is the only one with IE7 installed

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have tried uninstalling IE7 and that didn’t work, I still get the error in
IE6

I’m running MCE 2005, through an IPCop firewall
I tried to start to do a repair install but it didn’t work as it was unable
to find some file

I have tried every suggestion on the web that I have found with no luck
whatsoever, the genuine advantage bit says that I’m valid - so that’s working

I can download files off windows downloads
