Additional info. I feel I am following the procedure set out by Microsoft
correctly but I have probably got something minor thing wrong.
I downloaded the hotfix a second time from Microsoft as they advised.
I created a folder on my C: drive and extracted the hotfix into it.
The name of the file appears to be
WindowsXP-KB935448-x86-ENU.exe
I then ran the Hotfix with the path\filename with an added space and -d
It flashes quickly to show updating beginning then goes to the available
switches message in which I can only click O.K. Then nothing.
Am I being asked to add a switch to the run command as well as the -d
Getting a bit confused now.
