How do you save control panel settings?

Every time I open control panel I have to click on classic view to get
the view I want.
I do that and resize the window to my liking, close the app and then
restart it and I have to do the same thing all over again.

How do I make the chages permanent? It is really annoying to have to
change to classic view and resize the windows all the time! Isn't there
a registry change I can make to achieve this?

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
