How do you sync so that the latest version is used regardless of whether
it's on the desktop or on the pda.

Is it a setting in tools > schedule? (That's greyed out in my set-up).

Thanks,

Philip

That's the default...in fact there is no way to not do that. The only caveat
is if there is a conflict, which mean the file changed on both the PPC and
the PC between syncs. At that point it goes by what you have set under
tools, either PC or PPC is always right.

Actual files go by the latest change. That whole file overwrites the older
one. Things like contacts and calendar, go by most recent item; a contact or
an appointment. You can make a change to a contact on the PC and a change to
another contact on the PPC and they will be sync'd to the other device.
Change the same contact on both and you have a conflict and one will win,
and you lose the other change.
