I'm not sure how it may have happened but I think the Document folder. I
noticed a few weeks ago that when I was working in Publisher or Office
my files wouldn't open, it gave me a message saying the document was
moved or renamed. It didn't click right away but then one day when I was
looking to find a file this popped up when I clicked on the Document
Shortcut off the Start Menu.

I reviewed the posts in the forums on how to restore the folder and
I've restarted my computer a few hundred times.

I've tried just about
everything I can think of. I through maybe there was an error in the
registry so I restored it to an earlier point in time. Didn't work. I've
tried a System Restore but conveniently none of the restore points
work...it starts throwing errors at me. I've run out of ideas and
reeeeeally need the files that should be in the documents
folder...figures it had to be my work laptop to hate me rather than my
personal one...
Any ideas?
