I am unable to get Outlook (2002) to Archive 'Calander' on my PC
(WinXPSP2)and wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I am
using ActiveSync(3.8)?

I only use Outlook for 'Calander' and ActiveSync works fine synchronising
with my HP iPAC 1940.

Hi Rob,

The Archive feature in Outlook looks at date of modification. So although
the start date of an appointment falls under the date you have set, it will
ignore the appointment if it has been modified in between. Refer to these
MSKB articles for more information ---

Many, many thanks - I have now found the basis of my problem and have been
able to Archive noting the appointment modification dates.
