If I purchase a “Windows Anytime Upgrade” from a full OEM Version of Vista
Business to Ultimate is my copy now considered retail?

Hi,

It'd be a retail upgrade. Why?

Ther Upgrade license would be retail, but the original OEM license
would naturally remain unchanged.

Just wondering if I could then access technical support for 90 days at no
charge. I don't have that option with my OEM copy and I am considering using
a couple of the Ultimate features.

Thanks.

Hi,

What features do you anticipate the need for technical support for? Yes, a
retail upgrade would have support incidents included, but you may be able to
find help for them here.

Yes It Does Convert You From An OEM Product ID To A Retail Version Product
ID, And You Will Be Required To Contact Microsoft, Rather Than Your OEM, For
All Software Related Problems, Just FYI.
