No it doesn't, MSN Messenger 7.0 is 9x/2000/XP, MSN Messenger 7.5 is
2000/XP, and Windows Live Messenger 8.0 is XP/Vista.

There is a version out there that works on 2000, maybe it's not official but
it's there I assure you =).

My sisters windows is ME so she cannt download messnger 7.5 or 8.0 so what
can she do she tried to use the messenger 7.0 but now it gives her a message
that there's a new version of messenger and she cannt download it plz help me

If she's using Windows Millennium Edition than 7.0 is the latest version of the client and it
should be allowing her to sign in without any problem. If she clicks the Help menu, then
About, what version (including build number) is she using? The latest version of 7.0 is
7.0.0816 and should allow her to sign in without any message indicating any upgrade.
