Does Microsoft antispyware cause your system to stall when shuttin

Since i installed it, whenever i try shutting down my system it takes about 3
minutes total to shut down, ive checked running programs just b4 i shut down
and theres the anti spyware stating 'not responding'.......anyone
else/solution?.......thanks

Same problem.

Solution: MS software uninstalled. Non-MS software installed.
