Hi,
After login the desktop does not load and it opens My documents folder. When
i cross that folder the computer goes idle, and I need to manually run
explorer from run menu (task manager) and then desktop appears.

No viruses and everthing is updated. Please somebody help!!

Hi,

Sounds like the shell entry was changed or damaged. After closing the
Documents folder, hit ctrl+shift+excape to open task manager. On the
applications tab, click 'new task' and type in regedit, then click ok.
Expand to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Double click the 'shell' string in the right pane, change the data to read
"explorer.exe" (without the quotes). Click ok, then close the registry
editor and reboot the system.

Something is wrong with your registry. I downloaded and installed
registryfix (you can use registry mechanic also), I ran it and after fixing
the problems that it found, I rebooted and everything worked perfectly.

printer -- network -- and it disappears and desktop appears, earlier it was
the same like when i try installing printer it used to show My documents like
in he case of windows boot earlier. Hope you get what i mean.
