What does the other person see if a contact is deleted and/or bloc

For example, if someone deleted me as a contact would I still see their name
and photo in my offline contact list if I leave them there as a contact? Or
should I get just the blue or green icon showing as offline

I guess it would be the same as if the other users doesn't login anymore.
You'll se him/her as offline.

To add and directly answer the question, yes you'll still see their display picture as it'll
be cached on your drive. It will not of course update.

If you remove your display picture cache (it's in the temp folder in your Windows profile),
then it would just be the static generic icon again.
