I'm a bit confused - is it a folder both ends can drop stuff in and then
auto-sync?

Exactly. It'll also notice changes to the files and sync them accordingly.

Also, I assume both parties need to be on messenger at the same time to
auto-sync...?

Yep, it's still file transfer in the background -- it's not storing the files on the server
or anything like that.

You have a local folder for each one of the contact and they have one
folder for you on their pc. So when you drop a file in your local folder
associated to a contact, as soon as he's online it will sync with the
folder your contact has associated to you...

hope something can be understood from what I wrote lol

P.S.... a question: does the sync have any file size limit or I can drag
also big files?
