Greetings,

It's merely an ActiveX control which interfaces your Messenger contacts with those on the
live.com sign-in pages. Like the Windows Messenger/Passport integration of yesteryear.

That's not what it is for.

As Jonathan said, it basically displays all the saved passport credentials
that have been used to log in from your computer at passport enabled login
sites.

sorry guys you are not explaining things well enough....

What will this offer me? I have logged in with 3 accounts in the live.com
site. Now what?

Jonathan says it said something about messenger CONTACTS not USER
ACCOUNTS....

thats why in my post I asked for a detailed explanation...
because I can see that its not clear at all what this does.

ok it worked with ie6 but not avantbrowser that is using the ie6 engine
