Hello jiang,

You can up to 2003, but it is not supported. You can run in lot's of problems
when using different hardware especially for HBA adapters and storage controllers.

Have a look here for 2003 or lower:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309395

With windows server 2008 it changed a bit:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943984/en-us

If the harwdare has the Windows Server 2008 logo and all validation tests
pass, then you are supported.

Best regards

thank you for your answer

Microsoft Cluster Configuration Validation Wizard, and i can do windows
clustering even if the two windows server's hardware is different, is that

Hello jiang,

As said before it may work, but if problems occur this is not supported by
MS. I suggest to talk to your hardware reseller about identical hardware
for clustering.

Best regards
