Dear All,

I've noticed that when Windows Update appears, I get a file appear in the C
drive, that tries to access the internet?

Normally it has some variant of 3333.exe, I havn't allowed it access
(suspected Virus/Malware) through my firewall, I checked the machine with
AVG, that wasn't picking it up, so I went over to Avira, that didn't pick it
up. I've scanned the PC with Microtrend House Call, that didn't pick it up.
I transfered it over to my main machine with Xp on and Norton, A1 A Squared
Free, SuperAntiSpyWare, Adaware or Spybot didn't pick anything up?

Can anybody shed any light on this, before (If I do) give it access to the
internet if it is to do with the Update on Vista?

Regards
Paul.

Hi,

It's a virus or worm and since it's active it's blocking detection by
anti-malware solutions. Best bet is to get into safe mode and run full
system scans from there.
