Does Vista USB audio driver forced a digital filter?

We use USB audio channel to send some data down/up (occasionally a word
wrong is OK). This works for 2000 and XP. But for Vista, the data down to
device is changed too much. Things do not work at all.

Does Vista Audio Driver enforce to add a filter? If so, can I turn it off?

Thanks!
