Where does web update store temporary files

I tried to update with Windows XP SP2 and was told I didn't have enough hard
drive space. So I freed up about 190M and tried again. Now I have less that 1
M, get the same message, and have no idea where Windows put the stuff it
tried to download.

So -- (1) Just how much room does Windows need to update with SP2?
(2) Can I tell it to use another drive (where I have gigabytes of
space)?
(3) Where did it put crap that I can delete to get my 190M back?

Any help appreciated!

The two questions above depends on several things. Are you using
Windows Updates to install SP2, or the 266 MB standalone SP2 installer?
