Where does windows update storage the hotfix and patch before install them?

I want save all patch and hotfix for create my personal installation.
Where does "windows update" storage the hotfix and patch before install
them?

Before installation, the hotfixes are stored in:
c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\download
Then they are automatically deleted after a time.

You would be better off downloading the updates you wish to keep from the Catalog.

You can download them from the Catalog and save to be installed later.

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what you want,
Click the "Go To Download Basket" link. Type in or browse to the location where you
want the updates saved to and then Click the "Download Now" button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

Thank's you but i don't understand some things.

The update that i find with "ffrom catalog" are different from update
that windows install with windows update. Why?? Windows Update download
many more update..

Some updates have been superceded (they are outdated).
Make your list (from your history), check it against
