Does the WindowsUpdate.log store it's full history log?.

I have done something very foolish. I was storing/saving information in the WindowsUpdate.log file & today I have lost it all.

I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3 & I was wandering if there a place where WindowsUpdate.log history is permanently stored away in another file somewhere on my computer?.

The actual weekly/monthly/yearly history log?.
