Watched messages are color coded (user can choose setting on the Read
tab) - default iirc is red, I changed mine to Teal.
Not sure about 2009 (no longer user it) but possibly similar to 2011 - one
has the option to create an entirely separate view (i.e. filter messages)
to show
a. flagged
b. watched and ignored
c. watched
d. ignored
e. combination of a and (b or c or d)
Setting a 'flag or watch' applies to messages not groups and does not
automatically receive messages.
Fyi...
You're version of WLM 2009 is obsolete, the last version of 2009 was
released in May 2010.

1. show me which groups have been flagged to:
fetch the next/new headers, next time I go on-line?
2. Does: -> action -> watchConversation
flag the specific thread/conversation, fetch ALL new/unfetched
articles of that thread AUTOMATICALLY at next on-line, or must I
<sync> something?
3. flag/show-me the newly fetched articles per 2 above?
