Doesn't start after boot...

Recently Live Messenger doesn't start after Windows started and loaded. All
necessary start options are marked in Options. To run it I have to click an
icon in Quick Lunch.
Maybe the problem is that I have still old Windows Messenger installed
(which also doesn't start) and Yahoo! Messenger with Voice (which always
starts).
Any ideas what causes this and how to deal with it?

Greetings,

Please check if Windows Live Messenger is in your startup file.

To do this, go to start, run, type "msconfig"

Navigate to startup, and scroll down till you find msnmsgr.exe, and if the
check box is unchecked, check it.

Hope that helps

Thanks. I should think about this myself, anyway... A bad day.

I am having the same issue. And it is checked in the startup group using
msconfig.

Upon startup I can see the people spinning for about 5 seconds. Then there
is a little red x there. All I have to do is manually sign in and it
immediately signs in.

Most of the time I put my hibernate my PC. When I wake it up it connects
back every time. Only when I reboot the computer do I have this issue.
