I'm putting up my first w2k8 r2 server and when I try to install a program
or try to move/delete files in the filesystem I get the access denied
despite the local administrators group seem to have sufficient rights and I
am a domain admin.
If I log on as the local administrator it's no problem. Why is that ? Any
new feature in w2k8 r2 ?

If I give the local group users more rights it works on the filesystem !?!

The domain is a W2k3 forest and domain level with only w2k3 DC's

Sincerely

\\Jonas B

Hello ,

Yes, the security is higher because of UAC. So either use RUNAS option with
a domain admin account or you have to lower security settings for UAC via
GPO settings.
