I read in one of this posts that Windows Vista Service Pack 1 was not going
to be available as a automatic update but last night after downloading about
9 updates i start the pc then inmidiattly after i connect to the internet
(11pm) the updater started to download Windows Vista Service Pack 1 it
tooooook forever to install it it finish installing this update at 12:30am i
couldn't sleep now that is installed the pc is slower should i keep this
thing? and what's the point of this? in the description it says it supports
new types of hardware well i tried to install my leaxmark 300$ printer that
has been sitting in my for 10 months cua i cannot installed in this vista pc
onlye in my xp pc ((( EVEN WITH THE SUPPOSED VISTA DRIVERS )) and guess what
it does nto work either

NOW OFF TOPIC : is there a way to get another 90 days free of live one
care? my trial is going to expire in 11 days or should I just get avast or
AVG? for free which one is better?

New hardware would probably be generic hardware such as CPUs and controllers
and not something like printers, video cards, etc.

Depending on how up to date you were with Vista and your system's hardware,
it could take 90 minutes or more [plus 2+ reboots].
