Using Vista Home Premium: e-mail attachments from "CBDisk-FedBiz Opps" arrive
every Thursday. I do not unzip the files - CB Disk- FedBiz Opps unzips and
extracts automatically to an issue download directory named "CB Disk"
(Installed from their CD sent to us). The issue used to be decompressed and
ready for use. Now all of a sudden I get - "Dyna Zip Unzip error: Zip
structure invalid (Problem reading zip file).
I wasn't having problem all year.
Can someone help?

Can you open a previous mail that you know worked?

The last issue I could open was issue-9-7-07 to 9-13-07. When I tried to
"single download zip file" to install issue 9-14-07 to 9-20-07, it didn't
work and has not since that date.

Maybe I should say that this is the only e-mail attachments I have a problem
with.
All other attachments from other sources that come in e-mails are OK.

What I am trying to find is if it has stopped working on all the zipped
files you get or if it is just some files.
If it works on the older files it points to a problem with delivery, if it
doesn't work older files it points to a problem with the zip software.

It is hard to tell, because the only time I use zip file attachments is to
access this weekly contracting and subcontracting tool they send us. I don't
deal with zip files other than that. Once the attachment was completely
downloaded all I had to do was = hit START on task bar-choose
Programs, Gov. information disk -choose
CBDisk-FedBizOpps and I was in the program and could use the Wizard. I can
go in and look at older dates but the bids are already closed in those
issues. It's the new issues I can't access because it won't download them
anymore.

Thank you dennis@home for your time and effort. I have to close office now,
but I will check back on Monday for more replies. I don't have a computer at
home.

DynaZip is an Active-X component of the program you're trying to run.

You may have Active-X applications disabled or the module was not properly
registered. Check with the CBDisk-FedBiz folks.

How do I check if the active X application is disabled? Bear with me, I'm not
very computer literate.

Bear with me, I'm not very computer literate. How can I check to find out if
Active X is disabled?
I just noticed a zip file I had on my desktop that I downloaded from the
internet a while back. I clicked on it to open it and the computer went
crazy. The screen kept pulsating and the only way to stop it was to shutdown.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Just thought I'd try something: I went into the CBDisk-FedBizOpps prpoerties
box and from the compatibility tab, I changed "Run this program in
compatibility mode for:" Windows XP(Service Pack 2) to : Windows 98/Windows
Me. We used to have Windows 98 before Vista. It worked!!
