I updated Windows to SP2 last night as recommended by
Microsoft. After the upgrade Outlook Express asked me
for a password for the main identity and no password,
including "Administrator" would work. I never had a
password before. I even tried the password to my email
account, but of course that didn't work either. I
finally had to create a new identity, set up my email
account again, and import my email messages and address
book. When I imported the address book all addresses are
mixed together rather than organized in folders. It will
take me hours to put it back together.

Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!

I use Outlook Express exclusively on my home pc and did not experience any of this when updating to SP2.

I received the SP2 udpate via WAU. Outlook was patched and current with all prior security updates before SP2 was installed.
