I dont want to erase my messages on the server

I want to keep a copy of all my messages on the server and when I delete them
from my windows mail it dissapears from my gmail account, how can I change
that?

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: Leave a copy of
messages on the server.

Gmail>>>Settings>>>Forwarding and POP/IMAP>>>Forwarding>>>keep Gmail's copy
in the Inbox

Gmail ignores the client setting. It has to be done in the web interface.
