i am the administrator. if i want to restrict my users not to enter
vista , what to do

Err I don't understand. Are you saying that the machine is dual-boot? (FWIW,
Vista does NOT have "DOS" - neither did XP....)

Set group policy on network logon to remove the Run command from the start
menu. Won't totally prevent using DOS type commands but can definitely slow
them down some. And that is, of course, if I can read between the lines
correctly to figure out what you want.

Don't give them user accounts of their own, and ensure that any
legitimate user accounts on the machine has strong passwords.
