That was helpful. I have all three folders, plus some files in the main
folder. I have TWO mscorlib.dll files. One says v1.0.3705.6018 -- which is
for dot.NET v1.0 SP3. The other says v1.1.4322.2032, which is for dot.NET
v1.1 SP1.
In the folder called "v2.0.50727, there is no *.dll file. There is a
mscorlib.tlb file. When I click on properties, it says it is a *.dll file.
But it shows up as a *.tlb file.
So I know I've got at least dot.NET v1.1 Sp1.
QUESTION: Is it okay to have two mscorlib.dll files? Do I need to
uninstall the dot.NET v1.0?
Because of the funny looking files inside the 2.0.50727 folder, it looks
like dot.NET v2 didn't install completely. My computer is doing fine, and
the few applications that need dot.NET are working well.
QUESTION: Can I leave well enough alone, or should I persist in getting
dot.NET v2 installed?
Thank you for your advice.
